I myself along with my family have been blessed by love and support teachers/ staff and other families alike at Mid valley Christian school. It’s been a blessing to us as a family. We also enjoy being able to be a part of the ministry by helping if there’s a need.

We came to MVCS several years ago. Me and my kids were going through a very difficult time. I was in a dark place. This school went above and beyond to love not only my boys but also myself. They spoke life , peace and joy back into us. They are more than just educators …They are a part of our family and we love them dearly . My sons have excelled at this school. This is an amazing school! I am a proud alumni of MVCS! I was privileged to be a part of the first graduating class in 2011, and the school has graduated students every year since! We have had graduates attend Ohio University’s Russ College of Engineering, Ohio University’s College of Arts and Sciences, Marshall University, Rio Grande University, and West Virginia University, just to name a few! Some graduates have gone on to trade schools, others into the military. Mid-valley has also had students accepted into Princeton’s summer scholars program. MVCS has a growing sports program currently including volleyball, basketball, and cheerleading. They also offer extra curricular activities and clubs such as prom, yearbook committee, and drama. What really sets MVCS apart from all other schools in the area, is the loving Christian environment. It truly is like a family at that school. Students partake on weekly chapel services, bible memorization, and community outreach projects. I continue to be a supporter of the school, even four years after graduating! Pre-School

Mid-Valley Chrsitian School accepts Preschoolers ages 3-5. Abeka book is an engaging Curriculum for Kindergarten Readiness featuring:

Students will build their social skills through play and classroom activities. Developing friendships and treating others with God’s love are demonstrated and encouraged. Learning about God through Bible lessons and memorizing His word are part of our daily schedule.

The Preschool is divided into two levels of learning.

Preschool A(ages 3-4)*

Students will begin identifying letters & sounds, pre-writing skills, counting, number recognition, and more.

Preschool B(age 4-5)*

Students will learn to identify Letters and Sounds, Reading Readiness, Letter Writing, Counting and Number Recognition, develop gross and fine motor skills, and more.

*Students must be independently toilet trained to enroll.

Our Pre-K & Kindergarten have the aim to continue the development of the child that has already begun at home. We have a developed plan that can be adapted to each child’s needs due to our small class sizes and ability to work with each child to ensure they receive the education necessary to progress.
