What Curriculum does MVCS use?

●  ThePre-School and Elementary Grades use primarily Abeka Curriculum. Abeka curriculum is a time-tested and effective Curriculum of Excellence.

●  For Bible classes, Abeka and Positive Action For Christ are used.

●  A combination of Abeka and BJU Press are used in the Jr. High and High School.

Does my student receive a diploma?

●  Mid-Valley Christian School awards diplomas to students who have completed all necessary credits.

●  MVCS follows the Ohio State Board of Education guidelines for required credits.

●  Graduates have been accepted by colleges and universities including but not limited to: Hocking College, Rio Grande University, Lancaster Bible College, West Point, Shawnee State University, …

Does MVCS take standardized tests?

Yes. Kindergarten through eleventh grade takes the Stanford 10 each year in the Spring. Our High School Juniors and Seniors prep and get ready for the ACT Tests.

Does my child have to be potty trained for Preschool?

Yes.Each student needs to be independently toilet trained.

Do you provide lunch?
Students bring their own lunch and snacks to school. Hot Food Friday is available each week to purchase. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle to school each day. Water Bottle filling stations are available to the students.

Does MVCS run buses?
MVCS does not provide public transportation.
