This is an amazing school! I am a proud alumni of MVCS! I was privileged to be a part of the first graduating class in 2011, and the school has graduated students every year since! We have had graduates attend Ohio University’s Russ College of Engineering, Ohio University’s College of Arts and Sciences, Marshall University, Rio Grande University, and West Virginia University, just to name a few! Some graduates have gone on to trade schools, others into the military. Mid-valley has also had students accepted into Princeton’s summer scholars program. MVCS has a growing sports program currently including volleyball, basketball, and cheerleading. They also offer extra curricular activities and clubs such as prom, yearbook committee, and drama. What really sets MVCS apart from all other schools in the area, is the loving Christian environment. It truly is like a family at that school. Students partake on weekly chapel services, bible memorization, and community outreach projects. I continue to be a supporter of the school, even four years after graduating! Pre-K & Kindergarten

Our Pre-K & Kindergarten have the aim to continue the development of the child that has already begun at home. We have a developed plan that can be adapted to each child’s needs due to our small class sizes and ability to work with each child to ensure they receive the education necessary to progress.

Elementary

The elementary curriculum is designed to teach students to read proficiently, write effectively, and think critically. Special attention is given to the development of a personal relationship with God followed by godly character development.

Jr High

Jr High courses are designed to prepare students for their more in-depth Sr High school courses. These courses tend to be more survey in nature as a result. Students in the Jr High school are challenged to understand what they are reading, write effectively what they have learned, and ask quality questions of their teachers.

Sr High

Sr High courses are designed to prepare students for college, trade school, and/or their selected career. Special attention is given to the development of a biblical worldview. Students also have the opportunity during their senior year to take online courses for college credit thus giving them an early advantage in college.
